Terms of use
The short version: the X-ray is free; Pro is a subscription you can cancel at any time; the software runs on your computer; there are no refunds except where the law requires them.

Who we are
TokenMaestro is made by an independent software developer based in Brazil (“we”). Contact: hello@thetokenmaestro.com.
The software
The TokenMaestro X-ray is free to download and use. TokenMaestro Pro is a paid subscription. Both run on your own computer; what they read and what, if anything, they send is described on the privacy page.
Purchases
Orders are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem is the seller of record for your purchase: it takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles sales tax or VAT, and its own terms apply to the transaction. Prices are shown in US dollars; tax may be added at checkout, depending on where you live.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period, yearly or monthly, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal linked in your receipt email; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and Pro keeps working until then.
Founders’ price: an annual subscription started with the founders’ code costs US$ 19 per year for as long as that subscription stays active. If it is cancelled and later started again, the regular price applies. The offer is limited to the first 1,000 subscriptions.
Refunds
Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or gives you a right of withdrawal. Where it does, write to hello@thetokenmaestro.com and we will handle it with Creem as the law provides.
Your license
Each Pro subscription comes with a license key that can be active on up to 3 computers used by the same person. The license is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and lasts while the subscription is active. Please do not share, publish or resell keys, or try to bypass the license check. Parts of TokenMaestro that are published as open source are covered by their own license (Apache-2.0), which prevails for those parts.
What the numbers mean
The dollar figures TokenMaestro shows are values at public API prices, calculated from the logs on your computer. They are not bills from your AI provider, and no particular saving is guaranteed. TokenMaestro reads files written by third-party tools such as Claude Code; when those tools change, some features may stop working until we update them.
Third parties
TokenMaestro is an independent product, not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or any other AI provider. It works with the AI tools you choose; Claude, Codex, Gemini and other product names belong to their owners. You remain responsible for following the terms of the AI services you use.
No warranty and limit of liability
The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to TokenMaestro is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits any right or liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change affects paid subscriptions, we will email subscribers at least 30 days before it applies.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without depriving you of the protection given by the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
